This course has been specially designed by a team of expert educationalists including psychiatrists and physicians and is a must for all practicing psychiatrists. It recognises your need, especially in the context of annual appraisal and revalidation, to keep up to date in physical health assessment skills.

The day focuses upon a variety of medical conditions including Endocrine, Neurology and Respiratory and Cardiology. The scenarios will use a range of approaches including actors and high fidelity simulation – all delivered in a relaxed and supportive learning environment.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course you will have:
  • refreshed your practical physical health skills – assessment and front line management
