The 18th Annual Grange Conference

Medico-legal Event of the Year for Mental Health Professionals

The 18th Annual Grange Conference

Monday 23 September - Wednesday 25 September 2019.

Ripley Castle, Ripley, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, HG3 3AY

Once more ETN is delighted to be managing the 18th Annual Grange Conference which has developed a cherished reputation amongst medico-legal experts.

With expert advice from Professor Keith Rix, the Grange Conference Directors have chosen the topics for this year carefully to address both what the expert witness needs to know and the controversial issues of the day.

This year we have taken note of the changing needs of our regular attendees and made a few changes to the conference...

Firstly, we are experimenting with running the event over three days, Monday to Wednesday - but don't forget, you may attend all or as many days as you wish. Secondly, instead of the case-based discussion paired sessions, we are building on the popularity of the one to one consultation appointments and also providing parallel interactive presentations on the duties of an expert for new and experienced experts.

The best traditions haven't changed though! As ever, you will have ample opportunity for informal disscussion and networking with some of the country's foremost experts in their fields... The Grange Conference Judicial Lecture is still de rigeur and the famous black tie dinner with all its traditions is not to be missed. And, of course, the venue is still the beautiful Ripley Castle Estate nestled between Harrogate and Ripon.

Conference Accommodation

Early bookers will have the opportunity of staying at the estate's family run Boar's Head Hotel with its excellent hospitality and cuisine - all guests will be able to visit the castle grounds and enjoy a personally escorted tour of the castle (or more accurately, as you will learn, the fortified manor house)

We highly recommend booking as soon as possible to secure your accommodation.

So whether you are an established expert or new to the field, we look forward to welcoming you to Yorkshire for the Medico-Legal Event of the Year for Mental Health Professionals between Monday 23rd and Wednesday 25th September 2019.

Don't forget though - the full residential package starts with welcome drinks and a relaxed social dinner on Sunday evening 22 September 2019 - see you there!
