The 19th Annual Grange Conference

Medico-legal Event of the Year for Mental Health Professionals

The 19th Annual Grange Conference Goes Virtual!

Tuesday 29th September to Thursday 1st October 2020

Once more ETN is delighted to be managing the 19th Annual Grange Conference which has developed a cherished reputation amongst medico-legal experts.

As no one will be surprised to hear, it will not be possible to hold the Grange Conference at Ripley Castle this year, but we are definitely not giving up! Far from it. ETN have already had lots of experience of staging virtual conferences and the Grange Trustees have added to this by ensuring that as many of the unique features of the Grange as possible are retained and even enhanced. So, the bad news is that the black-tie dinner has had to go.
The rest is all good news:
• You will be able to attend the whole conference or any combination of half days.
• All speakers will present as planned with a question and answer sessions afterwards.
• During the coffee breaks you can choose to spend time alone or bring your coffee to a randomised ‘breakout room’ where you will be able to chat to a small number of delegates – some will be old friends but you will also have the opportunity of meeting new people.
• We encourage you to share your lunch with old friends and new in our lunch ‘breakout rooms’ with the added benefit that you may invite your home or office lunch companions!
• We have added an extra talk by James Briscoe – an expert on remote consultations – who will bring us up to date on the medico-legal implications.
• You will now be able to attend the Wednesday afternoon session uninterrupted if you wish and still have a 1:1 session with Keith Rix later in the day/evening, or dip in and out and have a 1:1 session with Danny Allen during the afternoon.
